About Us
The Mami’s 305 brand began to pay homage to family and to centuries of Mexican culture. It also began as an inspiration that it is never too late to follow your dreams. At the age of 53, Mami’s 305 owner, Diana Carpintero, set out to honor her mother while reinventing herself after decades of practicing law. Following the passing of her mother, Dora, Diana moved to Miami. She soon realized she had a unique opportunity to share her family’s heritage and to bring authentic Mexican flavors to an ever-changing and dynamic cultural landscape. Armed with a notebook filled with the recipes that had been passed down through generations of Dora’s family, Diana embarked on a journey to bring centuries of recipes to life through her food.
